From high school to war and home again, then back again a second time. A young Marine’s story of two tours of duty in Southeast Asia.  Each tour in different parts of Vietnam, each with its own type of war.

First in the rice paddies of the Da Nang area, fighting the local Viet Cong. Then up in the Northwest corner of South Vietnam against the hard core North Vietnamese Regulars at the Siege of Khe Sanh and the 77 days of hell on earth.

Then returning to America only to find that the country had turned its back on the returning soldiers.
